Home Depot 100.00 Gift Card Giveaway

The rain has finally stopped here in North Georgia, and I know you all have projects you are anxious to get started on for the house and garden. My husband and son finished putting the roof on our new deck, and before it was even finished I was telling my husband how I wanted a garden shed/building to house my business Gardenchick. There is a wonderful two story one at Home Depot that has my name written all over it!

I was contacted by Home Depot and offered a $100.00 gift card for the readers of my blog! What a great giveaway to get your home and garden ready for summer, and what Dad would not love a Home Depot gift card for Father's Day.

Here's how it works. Go over to Home Depot's Garden Club site and look through the popular gardening DIY projects. Then submit on the comment section of this post, the “DIY gardening project” you would like to tackle or what you would buy if you win the $100 gift card on my blog. BE SURE AND LEAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS SO I CAN CONTACT YOU IF YOU WIN!

Also, tell me if you tweet about it, blog about it, or put it on your facebook page, and you will get extra entries increasing your chance of winning!

The contest runs from June 1 through June 21st Fathers Day.

The Home Depot Gardening Club can also answer any of your gardening questions within 24 hours and has great coupons, tips, and DIY advice on gardening, lawn care, landscaping and outdoor living projects. ENTER NOW!

  • Build a Picnic Table
I have 2 greenhouses that are 2 miles from my home. If I won the HD gift card, I would use it to complete the picnic table project. That way, I'd have a nice place to eat lunch when I'm working!!

  • this is perfect timing! I recently found out that my condo building has some hidden space in the backyard dedicated to homeowners' gardening. I am planning to claim some space, clear it out and build some raised beds on it. I would use the gift card to buy the supplies for the beds as well as some light gardening equipment to share with my neighbors.

    my e-mail address is m.nusnbaum@gmail.com

    thanks!

  • I just lost the entire comment I shared!
    I'll try to recall it...
I heard about your blog and recent Home Depot post from Linda at
    www.prairieflowerfarm.blogspot.com.
She loved your blog and I am so glad she shared it with me! I will subscribe to your RSS feed when I get my computer repaired.

If I won the 100.00 Home Depot card, I would put it towards getting a lawn mower. We have pieced together the one we have now for years and it is hard to use.

I am dreaming and praying for a well cut lawn this summer!

  • How nice to be able to give away a gift card. I have been wanting a small chain saw from Home Depot to help me clear some of the downed branches by my driveway. But I also like the DIY project of building a raised bed and could always use one of those.

  • Karen, I know just the shed you are looking at. Ours is now 5 years old and still looking great!

There are so many projects around here that I couldn't pick just one except maybe another few gallons of HD's fantastic paint to finish the north side of the house. :P

  • Installing Pavers in Sand -- I'd love to be able to install pathways to connect parts of my garden. Decorative and extremely durable. I'd like to do it right so it's stable - hate sinking pavers.

Hopefully, this would help keep my garden less walked on by people and pets.

  • Build Raised Garden Beds

I love, love, love to garden, but am not very healthy or as mobile as I'd like. My husband has been promising to build raised beds for me to garden in for years, but we never seem to have the money.

I am tweeting it, adding it to Facebook, Myspace AND my blog!! =)

  • There's so many projects I'd like to do (and some to complete). But one thing I have always wantedis a nice raised garden. The How to Build a Raised Garden Bed DIY interested me a lot. I would have so much fun working on a raised garden bed and preparing for next years garden as I go along. One thing I'd also like to have is more gardening tools too. Thanks for this great giveaway Karen. I don't know anything about Twitter or Facebook yet and am new to just learning about setting up a blog. So one thing I can do is Igetthis linked up in my blog and help spread the word.

  • DIY Project
As you've seen, our front yard is a little out of control. We've started weeding and cutting vines near the road and want to start planting flowers there. The landscape fabric would be a tremendous help!
As soon as I can figure out how to put this on Facebook, I will.
